The Tetoba Museum will hold its 3rd exhibition, "LeNa SATO Exhibition: Fragments - Piece of Goto Islands," from Friday, August 1st to Sunday, August 31st, 2025.
This exhibition will feature new works based on the theme of pieces found in Goto, depicting coral, shells, seaweed, and other materials, as well as previous works.
The title "Fragments - Piece of Goto Islands" refers to the various small things encountered on the island - camellia flowers, driftwood, fragments of the terrain, and moments of memory.
It was born from the desire to gently lift up those "fragments" that we look at.
During the exhibition, the artists will stay in Goto and continue creating works as part of an artist-in-residence program.
"Pieces" where the present and memory intersect quietly emerge in the museum space.
